2027 PLAY SUBMISSION PROCESS

OPC APPLICATION WINDOW WILL BE OPEN SEPTEMBER 11 - 18, 2026.  

The 2027 Ojai Playwrights Summer Conference & New Works Festival application window will be open from September 11 - 18, 2026, and will continue to be an open submission process to uphold our commitment to making new play development programs accessible. The 30th Anniversary of OPC’s Summer Conference & New Works Festival will take place July 18-August 1, 2027.

We’re inviting high school students to come eat tacos and write with us in 2026! Taco Tuesday Write Nights are OPC's monthly hangout for high school students in Ojai that includes workshops and Q+A’s with OPC professional artists. Sign-ups coming soon!
