FESTIVAL PLAYS & EVENTS

THURSDAY, AUGUST 1

7:30 p.m. - IN CELEBRATION
A special evening highlighting the work of artists in the OPC community, including the students in the Youth Workshop and Intern programs, and award-winning Writers-in-Residence: Jaclyn Backhaus, Stephen Adly Guirgis, and Steve Yockey.


FRIDAY, AUGUST 2

6:30 p.m. - FESTIVAL KICK-OFF (Toast at 7:00 p.m.)
Join OPC artists for a toast to kick off the Festival at the home of Thacher’s Head of School Jeff Hooper and his wife Kara, located just behind the theater.

7:30 p.m. - barren. by Alex Lin


SATURDAY, AUGUST 3

3:00 p.m. - Thursdays Come at Morning by Lee Cataluna, original story by Les J.N. Mau

6:00 p.m. - DINNER WITH OPC
For those who opted to add a meal to their pass, dinner will be provided between performances in the Passholder dining room.

7:30 p.m. - CALF SCRAMBLE by Libby Carr


SUNDAY, AUGUST 4

11:00 a.m. - ¡VOS! by Christina Pumariega


1:00 p.m. - LUNCH WITH OPC
For those who opted to add a meal to their pass, lunch will be provided between Sunday performances in the Passholder dining room.

1:30 p.m. - IN CONVERSATION
A discussion with the 2024 Festival playwrights led by OPC Producing Artistic Director Jeremy B. Cohen.

3:00 p.m. - The Ceremony by Mfoniso Udofia


LOCATION:
Milligan Center for the Performing Arts at The Thacher School, 5025 Thacher Road, Ojai, CA


PARKING:
General parking
is just beyond the school gates to your right.  The theater is a short walk up the hill from the lot, on your left.

Accessible parking:

  • There are several handicapped spaces across from the theater.

  • There are two reserved spaces just beyond the theater on your left.

  • Guests can be dropped off directly in front of the theater.

BOX OFFICE:

  • Friday (FULL FESTIVAL PASSES ONLY): Check in at the kick-off toast to be held at the home of Thacher’s Head of School, Jeff Hooper and his wife Kara, located just behind the theater. 

  • Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: Check in at the box office outside the theater.
